Job Description

Job Summary:We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented junior accountant to join our team. The junior accountant will assist with day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and experience with accounting software, such as QuickBooks.Responsibilities:

  • Assist with accounts payable activities, including processing invoices, preparing payments, and reconciling vendor accounts.
  • Assist with accounts receivable activities, including generating customer invoices, tracking payments, and following up on past due accounts.
  • Assist with general ledger activities, including preparing journal entries and reconciling balance sheet accounts.
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting activities.
  • Prepare bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies as needed.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Help maintain accurate records and documentation of financial transactions.
  • Assist with year-end audit preparation and other regulatory compliance activities.
  • Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.
