Purpose:The Jib Operator is responsible for operating the Jib during studio or remote operations.Main Duties and Responsibilities:?????????To assist the Production Team/ Unit with checking, building, and to balance all gear prior the broadcast?????????Assist in troubleshooting the Jib if any problems arise and provide an alternative fix including changing servos, camera, camera lens and supporting equipment?????????To help choose and frame each shot, applying the technical aspects of light, lenses, film, filters and camera settings to achieve the effects describe by the show director?????????To adjust positions and controls of cameras, and related equipment to change focus, exposure and lighting?????????Work with in precise limits and standards of accuracy?????????To follow a shot list, while choosing the angles and distances?????????Working flexible shift patterns in order to meet the demands of the operation?????????Ensure on health and safety issues on a daily basis.
