Job Description

Tasks and Expertise:

  • 5+ years of experience in modern Frontend development, React.js, JavaScript, Typescript, CSS.
  • Ability to debug applications independently and work with other IT teams.
  • Good programming skills in Java, Springboot, Micro Services, and Oracle. JavaScript (React and Node.js) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Source Code Management tools such as Git.
  • Familiar with PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions.
  • Good understanding of TDD.
  • Hands-on experience in Java, Spring, Springboot and related frameworks.
  • Strong database skills, experience with DB2, PostGreSQL or Oracle.
  • Strong understanding of the principles of Object Orientation Programming and design.
  • Must be able to work independently and efficiently within a diverse and fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Cloud experience, preferably Azure is an added advantage.
  • Experience in SCRUM, agile development methodology, and test-driven development is an added advantage.
  • Experience with CI build chain GitLab, Maven, Docker, Kubernetes, Web Apps and Web Services (Tomcat, Apache) is an added advantage.
  • Develop and maintain Frontend software for various regulatory reporting products at newest standards.
  • Understand and work with the team to develop different tools to support our regulatory reporting teams with technical applications to gain efficiency.
  • Integrate frameworks with Continuous Integration, - Deployment, - & Testing pipelines.
  • Support and develop proofs-of-concept and pilots with the newest technology standards for our regulatory reporting products.
  • Collaborate on incident management, problem analysis, quality and control.
  • Collaborate with other global IT teams.
