Job Description

ob descriptionWe are looking for an IT Officer to support our business and is immediately available to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in providing IT support services and handling procurement. This position reports to the Senior Executive Function and the duties and responsibilities are given below:IT Support:

  • Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications
  • Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
  • Talk through a series of actions with staff or clients, either face-to-face or over the phone, to help set up systems or resolve issues
  • Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
  • Provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports
  • Support the roll-out of new applications
  • Set up new users accounts and profiles and deal with password issues
  • Respond within agreed time limits to call-outs
  • Work continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate)
  • Prioritize and manage many open cases at one time
  • Manage implementation of new applications
  • Manage the IT Ticket System
  • Making sure the bills are paid on time to avoid inconvenience
Procurement:
  • Respond promptly to the procurement requests made by Employees -Approve, Decline or Pending
  • Enquire and get quotes from relevant vendor
  • Manage new vendor relationship/contracts
  • Responsible for purchasing in-store or get the order delivered
  • Manage a procurement data excel sheet
