Job Description

We are searching for a skilled and innovative IT/Computer/Communication Engineer to serve as an IT Architect & Implementation Specialist at our company in Qatar. The ideal candidates will be responsible for creating robust IT architectures and designs for our clients, overseeing the entire implementation process, and providing ongoing support. The ideal candidate for this role should have a solid understanding of IT systems, networks, and security protocols as well as the contracting business. They should also possess excellent problem-solving skills and be able to work well under pressure.Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop comprehensive IT architectures and solutions for clients, ensuring they align with business objectives, specifications and industry best practices.
  2. Lead and participate in all phases of implementation, from coordination and documentation to communication with manufacturers, testing, and deployment.
  3. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and successful implementation of IT solutions.
  4. Act as a liaison between our company and technology manufacturers, fostering strong relationships and staying updated on the latest advancements.
  5. Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of implemented solutions.
  6. Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting expertise to clients post-implementation.
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Minimum of 8 years of proven experience in a similar job position.
  2. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Communication Engineering, or related field.
  3. Professional certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) are preferred.
  4. Basic Scripting and programming experience.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  8. Good understanding of IT security protocols and best practices.
  9. Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
  10. Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
  11. Familiarity with all major components of an IT architecture (Servers, Network, Storage, etc.) on both of the physical and the logical levels.
