Job Description

The IT Development Manager is accountable for the supervision and management of all activities related to the design, development and implementation of systems and solutions in order to support/serve the capabilities mentioned above.

  • Review and analyze existing application effectiveness and efficiency, and then develop strategies for improving or leveraging these systems.
  • Manage the development and deployment of new applications, systems software, and/or enhancements to existing applications throughout the organization
  • Ensure that any new software integration into company systems meets functional requirements, system compliance, and interface specifications.
  • Provide technical leadership to development team.
  • Maintain the overall quality of systems Understand the business requirement from the business managers
  • Create and communicate application development plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
  • Construct and catalog application source code, and adhere to coding standards, procedures and techniques
  • Manage the activity of pre-deployment and release of an application or a change to an application
  • Work with Information Security to identify and install security measures that would not jeopardize content or data leakage
  • Maintain documentation as indicated by Companys IT processes
  • Ensure the technology solutions and specifications based on business goals and technical requirements, in adherence with technical standards, procedures and policies?
  • Understand the technology and business strategies of the organization?
  • Remain current with trends in the industry and technology?
  • Work with the IT solution architects to develop early solution designs and provide high level cost estimates for projects
  • Proactively identify opportunities to increase operational and business efficiencies Report on the status of in-progress projects and projects requests to the business?
  • Accountable for the information and application enterprise view of the IT architecture landscape?
  • Accountable for reviewing the application architecture to ensure that the IT strategy aligns with? business priorities?
