SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS:?IT administrators take care of the proper functioning of the computer systems, researches complex problems & provide problem-solving support to computer users.?Performs daily checks on systems, monitors and facilities backup of LAN servers, updates and maintains logs and documentation. They configure systems, install and update software and applications, set up security measures.IT Administrator job involves ensuring that the peripheral systems are in proper working condition. IT system administrators have to quickly arrange for replacement or resolve the issues in case of any hardware failure. They have to create file systems and manage network communication. Part of the system administrator requirements include being responsible for taking care of the backup and recovery policy.IT administrator job includes updating the new version of OS and application software, along with executing the policies for the use of the computer system and network. Additionally, system administrator requirements include setting up security policies for users and taking care of identity management.The IT Administrator takes care of the user accounts, permissions, access rights, and storage allocations. They offer technical support and troubleshoot any hardware and software problems related to server and storage devices. The professional will handle issues concerning application and database server operations. They do thorough research on upcoming products, service protocols, and standards in support of systems software procurement and development efforts.?MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES:?????????Knowledgeable to work on computer system, printer and server based systems.?????????Maintaining all the computer systems of the company?????????Load and configure computers with operating system and required application software.?????????Regularly monitor software, hardware, security and connectivity issues of the company ?????????Solving all related company problems of software and hardware ?????????Supports Value Center required software (Infinium, Showcase, Microsoft Office, etc.).?????????Troubleshoots network (router, switch and hubs), personal computer (desktops and laptops) and server problems.?????????Able to operate and run Microsoft critical updates and current standard anti-virus software.?????????Provides Help Desk assistance to end users.?????????May train users in use of equipment, Microsoft operating system and Office applications.?????????Performs additional duties as required.?Confer with analysts in the company and request new systems whenever necessary

• Installing, configuring and maintain servers and networks;
• Active directory and domain administration (GP, OU, user management, security?etc?
• MS windows server administration (2003, 2008, 2012, 2016) (problem tracing, log monitoring, installation, administration etc.)
• Specific experience with Microsoft Operating Systems 2008R2 to 2012 R2, and Microsoft Exchange Server.
• Specific experience with Symantec Backup Exec
• Overseeing system performance and troubleshooting issues;
• Creating a backup and safeguarding the data if there are any hindrances;
• Performing system upgrades following new releases;
• Monitoring and maintaining network servers such as file servers, VPN gateways and intrusion detection systems; and
• Experience with firewall technology and Cisco switching and routing

MATERIAL & EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED:Personal computer, printers, network equipment and electronic test equipment and other general office equipmentWORKING ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:Works in a general office environment including computer rooms.?May, on occasion, install connecting cabling in office environment??FREEDOM TO ACT:????Reports to the Director of HR and functions under general supervision?MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:???????????Education:????????Bachelor?s Degree plus applicable experience, technical degree beneficial; A+ Certification and progress towards MCSE, CCNA desirable???????????Experience:??????Three years related experience
