The incumbent will advise on internal controls and risk management to UDSTs leadership and to the President.ÿDuties & Responsibilitiesÿ The successful candidate will contribute to the formulation of UDSTs strategy and lead the development and implementation of Internal Audits strategy in alignment with UDSTs strategy through its initiatives and projects.ÿThe successful candidate will lead the development of the annual internal audit plan and ensure that audit efforts are focused on the areas of highest risk and/or weakest control and reflect UDSTs strategy, providing effective advice and counsel to the Board of Trustees and the President on Internal Audit (including institutional compliance and operational effectiveness and efficiency).ÿThe successful candidate will ensure that the Internal Audit policies, proceduresÿ and guidelines are in line with prevailing laws and regulations in Qatar, as well as State Audit Bureau standards. In addition, monitor UDST Business Units to ensure that current audit programs and policies are effectively implemented.ÿThe successful candidate will ensure that audit activities encompass all key core and non-core functions of UDST and establish audit controls and procedures to monitor operational effectiveness and compliance to internal and external policies and regulations, as applicable in Qatar.ÿThe successful candidate will ascertain the integrity and reliability of financial and other information provided to management and stakeholders.
