Plan, design, and furnish interiors of wood works and furniture. Formulate design which is practical, aesthetic, and conducive to intended purposes, such as raising productivity, selling merchandise, or improving life style. May specialize in a particular field, style, or phase of interior design. & Principal accountability:Undertake design project from concept to completionDefine project requirements and schedule during the ?brief?Interpret and translate customer needs into rough plansSet costs and project fees according to budgetResearch and decide on materials and products sourcingProduce ?sample? and ?mood boards?Supervise work progressWork closely with engineers, decorators, architects,Research and follow industry changes, evolution and best practicesInvolve in sales targets and manage the communication with the clients, making sure all client requests/inquiries are attended to.?
