Responsible for the interpretation of design and development concepts coming from the Concept Designer into visual presentations. Ensure adherence of the concepts to all design and regulatory codes and standards applicable international and eminent to the area being studied while meeting client?s and project requirements.
Reports mainly to the Concept Designer for the developed design concept creations and approvals, and liaise further with the Design Development Department Head or Project Coordinator, wherever applicable for all approved design concepts to be further developed into a more detailed architectural, interior design, and visual presentations.
Designs and develops concepts;
Produces visual presentations interpretive of the design concepts proposed (i.e. hand sketches, 2D layout plans, 3D models, mood boards, colours, fabrics, material swatches, etc.)
Ensures that all design concepts to be forwarded for further development receive due approval to proceed;
Relays the approved design concepts to the development team, and liaises with the department head to ensure right interpretation of the concept;
Attends client meetings and presentations with the Principal Designer if required;
Ensures that the information received from all sources and required by scope are substantial enough to proceed with the required; otherwise, related clarifications to be raised accordingly;
That all design concepts are in adherence to international standards, and any applicable design and regulatory codes;
Co-relates further development (of the concepts) with overall project status;
