Job Description

About our client:Our client is a world-class integrated petrochemical plant producing high-density and medium-density polyethylene, 1-hexene and other products, using state-of-the-art technology. They have a production designed capacity of 453,000 tonnes/year of PE and a 1-hexene unit with a designed capacity of 47,000 tonnes/year. The site also has a Sulphur recovery and solidification plant, a water treatment plant, seawater cooling system, dock facilities and administrative buildings. Their vision is to grow sustainably, in alignment with Qatar National Vision and became the leader of world class operators in the petrochemical industry by 2027.Responsibilities:Routine Duties:

  • Carryout maintenance activities in an efficient manner, in line with the annual business plans, and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Complete all assignment of tasks, performance appraisal, training, and maintain proper tools and equipment in order to make sure the unit equipment perform reliably.
  • Carryout troubleshooting of problems occurring in the units and implement corrective actions.
Shutdowns and Turnarounds:
  • Assist in planning, organising, and implementing shutdowns, turnarounds, and emergencies in order to ensure safe and timely execution of tasks.
  • Assist in identification of shutdown and turnaround activities, spare, scheduling and JSA.
Plant Maintenance:
  • Ensure that work processes are implemented as per standards and procedures.
  • Maintain high level of availability of the instrumentation within area of responsibility.
  • Identifies spare parts requirement of each equipment. Identifies required special tools to carry out his activities.
Requirements:
  • Min 3 - 5 years of experience in Oil and Gas, Chemical OR Petrochemical industry.
  • Bachelor/ Diploma in Electronics and Instrumentation OR Electronics and Communication.
