Reporting directly to Dev Ops Manager this role is required to perform skilled work across several projects and provide 3rd line technical support to the infrastructure team, aiding teaching and learning and supporting core operations.Key Duties:* Responsible for the supporting and maintaining the following services + Data and voice network infrastructure (LAN and WAN)+ Network authentication and security+ Cloud services+ Business applications+ End user desktop/laptop provision, upgrade and maintenance+ Fixed and mobile telephone* Attend to any escalated IT Service Requests that will arrive via the ACS Service Desk System, email, and telephone or by special request* Provide organisation-wide technical assistance for both academic and administrative technology needs* Provide technical support to the IT team and end users as appropriate through training, answering questions, solving problems, and documenting procedures* Interact positively with students, colleagues and parents by working cooperatively with them in a responsive, helpful, courteous and tactful manner* Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing* Act as an escalation point for IT Service Requests and provide 3rd line technical support to the Incident Management team, aiding teaching and learning and supporting core operations* Log and update Incidents, Problems, RFCs, etc. using theACSService Desk System maintaining accurate records and ensuring timeous updates and follow-ups* Complete all relevant administration accurately to agreed timescales.
