Job Description

The Human Resources Specialist is responsible for ensuring that the company has a strong and healthy workforce. This includes recruiting, staffing, and managing employees. It also includes developing and enforcing policies to ensure that employees are treated fairly.The position requires someone who can take the lead and drive success, someone who sets and executes HR strategy, manages HR activities, and ensures that HR contributes to company success.Responsibilities:

  1. Recruit, hire, train, and manage a diverse workforce to meet the needs of both current and future organizational goals
  2. Develop enterprise wide HR policies and procedures in collaboration with the GM and other senior leaders
  3. Manage employee relations issues in accordance with Qatari laws
  4. Communicate with employees on matters related to HR issues
  5. Develop compensation programs, including but not limited to salary reviews, salary differentials, performance reviews, merit increases, promotions
  6. Provide administrative support for new hires including orientation programs
  7. Provide leadership to managers on HR matters including performance management and disciplinary actions
  8. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws governing labor practices including but not limited to Qatari labor laws regulations
