Job Description

The incumbent will serve as CCL and data dictionary resource person to meet data extraction and data linkages using SQL and other scripting/programming languagesData Extraction

  • Contribute to development of MS SQL Server databases and data collection systems which automate the retrieval, storage and integration of data sets for health intelligence
  • Understand the clinical and administrative processes and systems that create and consume data used for reporting, contribute to the collation of a health informatics data dictionary and business rule register
  • Work with other team members to support them to present their own reports to relevant audiences, including training and providing self-service options where appropriate
  • SQL Analysts collaborate closely with key business stakeholders to analyses and program their requirements for business intelligence metrics, visualizations and reporting.ÿ
  • Create datasets and DataMart required for various reporting and dashboards by using SQL Programming knowledge
Data Governance
  • Ensure high standards of confidentiality to safeguard any sensitive information.
  • Apply data governance principles while extracting data from different systems
Patient Safety Commitment
  • Ensure that the aspects of patient safety, risk management, and quality improvement are embedded in all the processes under are of responsibility.
  • Foster a culture of safety, where staff feels encouraged to raise concerns and report incidents without fear of disciplinary procedure.
  • To develop a culture of learning and encourage staff to learn from defects. Learning should lead to continuous process improvement.
  • To collaborate with other leaders for Patient safety.
