Responsible for coordinating all aspects of Structural, Piping&Layout design, equipment, technical and execution definition, including planning for detailed design, procurement, installation, testing and commissioning. Ensures technical requirements (e.g. project specifications, data sheets, etc.) developed during FEED fully comply with project deliverables and through effective collaborations and interfaces with contractor, Qatargas and/or SHS to ensure the project scope of supply is fully integrated and optimised.
Job Context & Major Challenge(s)
Implements the delivery of Materials, Corrosion and Welding through completing risk-based evaluation of complex technical issues, ensuring Compression Project deliverables are compliant with project requirements while meeting required Qatargas quality expectations. Coordinates the delivery (content and timing) of Corrosion, Materials and Welding in accordance with project requirements from Compression EPC Contractor.
Person Specification ? Minimum Requirements
Bachelor Degree in Materials/Corrosion Engineering or equivalent.
15+ years? experience of Materials Engineering experiences in a major project environment in the oil and gas industry with minimum 5+ years involvement, with a broad knowledge of engineering execution including material selection, design standards, specifications, codes, safety criteria, offshore facilities design, construction, and operations.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs, Lotus Notes, etc.
