- meets patients who visit their medical practice, making them feel comfortable and asking questions to determine the nature of their visit- conducts examinations and asking further questions to help diagnose their??? medical condition/or illness- orders, performs, and interprets tests and analyzes records, reports, and examination information to diagnose patient?s condition- orders additional medical examinations where necessary, including blood tests, laboratory tests, x-rays and other diagnostic procedures to gain a precise diagnosis- analyzes test data or images to inform diagnosis or treatment- prepares and issues medical reports, conducting eye test (visual acuity, color vision, near vision test)- explains procedures and discusses test results or prescribed treatments with patients- prescribes medication and correct dosage for patients- administers basic medical treatments, such as injections, immunizations, and carry out minor procedures like wound dressing and stitches, incision & drainage of abscesses etc.- carrying out common procedures like urinary catheterization, nasogastric tube insertion, phlebotomy (peripheral vessel), I.V. fluids infusion- performs primary care procedures & management including otoscopy, epistaxis control, minor burn care, removal of simple foreign bodies from eye, ear and nose- provides health education and gives recommendations to patients on diet, nutrition, exercise and other lifestyle habits to prevent or recover from illness- monitor patient?s conditions and progress and reevaluate treatments as necessary- keeps a detailed, up-to-date records of all patient treatments and interactions for their own medical practice and medicare- performs emergency care and resuscitation including airway management and cardiorespiratory resuscitation- refers patients to specialist doctors if they determine necessary- arranges admission of patients to hospital where necessary- coordinates work with nurses, social workers, rehabilitation therapists, pharmacists, psychologists, and other health care providers- provides patient?s consultations at home with excellent possible home services- keeps up to date with the latest medical treatments and medications relevant to general practice primary healthcare- keeps a detailed records of all patients and the?treatments they receive- understands and follows mission statement, ethics, organizational policies and follows established guidelines
