Hilton Salwa Beach Resort & Villas is seeking for a General Manager who will be responsible for managing the Hotel Executive team and overall hotel targets to deliver an excellent Guest and Team Member experience while managing profitability and guest satisfaction measures.One of the largest resorts in the Middle East, Hilton Salwa Beach Resort & Villas is an unparalleled destination offering world-class facilities and bespoke services for todays luxury leisure travellers. Sprawling across 3.5 kms of prime coastline, the resort offers 361 accommodations, the largest water park in Qatar- Desert Falls Water and Adventure Park, more than 20 restaurants showcasing global flavours, a beach club, swimming pools, a marina, luxury spa and a health club.What will I be doingAs a General Manager, you are responsible for managing the Hotel Executive team and overall hotel targets to deliver an excellent Guest and Team Member experience. A General Manager will also be required to manage profitability and guest satisfaction measures. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Manage ongoing profitability of your hotel, ensuring revenue and guest satisfaction targets are met and exceeded
• Lead in all key property issues including capital projects, customer service, and refurbishment
• Ensure all decisions are made in the best interest of the hotels and Hilton
• Deliver achievable hotel budgets, and set other short- and long- term strategic goals for the property
• Provide effective leadership to hotel team members
• Lead in all aspects of business planning
• Comply with and exceed Hilton Brand Service Standards
• Ensure costs are controlled and revenue opportunities are effectively sourced and delivered
• Manage and develop the Hotel Executive team to ensure career progression and effective succession planning within Hilton
• Hold regular briefings and communication meetings with the HOD team
• Respond to audits to ensure continual improvement is achieved

• Experience as General Manager within a similar Resort hotel
• Experience managing a portfolio of villas and complex operations will be an advantage
• Strong commercial acumen with innovative approach and experience in increasing profitability and driving the business commercially
• Experience managing budgets, revenue proposals, and forecasting results in a similar Resort property
• Strong communication skills with the ability of developing successful relations. Fluent in Arabic will be an advantage
• Solid people leadership and retention of talent with the ability to bring a team together on a journey, instilling the Hilton culture and values
• Strong owner management with demonstrable influence skills
• Dynamic and proactive approach with solid experience as an agent of change
• Proven experience in delivering results with an eye for details and quality
• Experience in GCC will be an advantage
