Job Description

descriptionmain responsibilities:

  • Diagnostic procedures such as endoscopy, colonoscopy and capsule endoscopy;
  • Managing common digestive disorders such as GERD, IBS & IBD;
  • Review patient histories, perform physical exams, and make diagnoses regarding patient?s gastrointestinal (digestive and gastrointestinal tracts) problems;
  • Create treatment plans for patient?s gastrointestinal problems;
  • Explain treatment recommendations to patients;
  • Interpret results of diagnostic tests;
  • Treatment may include prescribing medications, counseling patients on diet changes, or performing surgery;
  • Monitor patients? progress.
