Utiliex Administration of Restaurants is a new F&B company that aims to introduce new food concepts in Qatar and the greater GCC region. We are looking for a financial accountant to join our growing team! Job Responsibilities: - Provides financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data; preparing reports.- Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.- Review inventory reports and analyze consumption to inform better stock ordering and handling operations.- Raises purchase orders and follow-up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of supplies- Documents financial transactions by entering account information.- Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options.- Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.- Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents.- Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.- Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.- Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.- Uses accounting software such as QuickBooks to input financial data.- Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.Skills* Bachelor?s or master?s degree in tax, accounting, or finance* Minimum 2 years experience in accounting/finance* Experience with financial reporting requirements* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel* Familiarity with accounting software and tax preparation software such as Intuit QuickBooks, PeachTree, or Xero Accounting* Exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality with regard to company accounts* Perform accurate work to the highest standards of accountancy* Able to complete work within deadlines with little direct supervision* Driven, self-motivated, and goal-oriented* Strong critical thinking and mathematical reasoning skills* Good verbal communication skills* Valid Qatari Driver?s license preferred.
