Looking for Financial Controller for Qatar LocationOver 10 years of professional experience in finance team where at least last 3 years in similar role in similar industryEnsuring compliance with policies & procedures, IFRS, DoA and Tax regulations of the State of Qatar and other regulatory requirements.? Providing BU management with accurate, timely and relevant financial information.? Monitoring of expenses against the approved budget before processing any PO or making any financial commitment.? Reviewing of financial proposals of new projects, feasibilities or tenders prepared by operations and making sure the accuracy/completeness of those before forwarding to management for approval.? Ensuring proper & accurate month/year end closing and reporting.? Ensuring adequate control is maintained over financial and accounting transactions including but not limited to related parties, loans, investments, banks, payables, receivables, owners accounts & payroll.? Preparing yearly budget for the BU, analyze, report and comments on variances.? Preparing financial and cash flows forecast on a periodic basis when required by the management.? Liaise with internal and external auditors, tax consultants and legal for any relevant matter or engagement.? Support the implementation of new technology/system (ERP), assess inherent risks, recommend and implement mitigating controls and ensures delivery with the project timelines and expected quality.? Support consolidation and tax team in their requests.? Monitor the performance of the accounting teams and recommend development programs for the team. Responsibilities?
