? Create and develop innovative designs, sketches, concepts and lay-outs based on extensive knowledge in the field, acquired through constant research for the latest design expertise within time and cost limits;? Attend fashion shows, read magazines and online material to identify latest fashion trends and target markets;? Test fabrics to ensure high quality finished products and help improve the manufacturing process;? Use measuring tools to cut material according to patterns and designs;? Review and amend sample garments to achieve desired results;? Work with a wide range of media, photography, computer-aided design (CAD) and other programs;? Proofreading lay-outs to produce accurate and high-quality work;? Make presentations to Management for review, improvements, editing and approval;? Coordinate with other departments or inter-companies on design projects, advertising campaigns, promotional and marketing needs;? Establish rapport with print or advertising companies to get excellent service and offers;? Collaborate with other team members and discuss designs and trends;? Perform other related tasks as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.
