Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Environmental Marine Technician to join our team. As an Environmental Marine Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting our marine projects. This position requires a strong technical background in instrumentation/electronics and a passion for environmental stewardship.   • Conduct fieldwork and perform environmental monitoring, data collection, and analysis in marine environments.
  • Install, operate, and maintain a variety of marine equipment, including but not limited to sonar systems, water quality sensor, oceanography equipment, environmental data buoys and data loggers.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electronic equipment and systems, both in the field and in the laboratory.
  • Calibrate and test instruments and sensors to ensure accurate and reliable data collection.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of scientists, engineers, and technicians to design and implement marine projects.
  • Actively participate in marine survey activities.
  • Prepare and present technical reports and contribute to project documentation.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry best practices in marine instrumentation.
