Carries out regular routine and breakdown maintenance of electrical control circuits, soft starter, variable frequency drive unit, PF capacitor unit UPS systems, microprocessor based control system MV switchboard, air circuit breakers, AMF panel, AC/DC fixed and variable speed motors, valve actuators, submersible pumps &?associated protection equipment,? cranes, electrical equipment, etc., related to Reservoir and pump stations, water well fields and RO plants, etc.Major Duties and Job Responsibilities:? Attend On-Call duty (Round the clock) for any emergency problems related to electrical equipment.? Assist his foreman in troubleshooting and fault-finding procedures.? Assist other section foreman & technician in completing combined works.? Prepare spare requirement to Foreman & Engineer and withdraw it from the stores.? Assist his foreman in inspection of contractor?s works.? Performs other related duties as needed upon request by the immediate supervisorQualification Requirements:? Three Years Diploma in Electrical Engineering +?5 years experienceORTrade Certificate Holder with 8 years experience in utility/? water plant. Kahramaa/ DEWA experience is preferred.Work Environment? Extensive traveling between Kahramaa sites, depots, reservoirs, pump stations during normal and or outside office hours.? 90% Site work, 10% Office Work.
