Job SpecificationThe purpose of the E&I QC Inspector is to interpretthe suitability of products and processes against the designated specificationrequirements at scheduled and ad-hoc intervals. The role is applicable to ProjectQA/QC department (brownfield and greenfield projects).Key Job Accountabilities

• Engage contractors and applicable third partyorganisations with a professional approach and maintain a good working levelrelationship.
• Fully conversant with discipline specific,facility related technical specification requirements.
• Review contractors documented qualitydeliverables in accordance with the requirements and expectations and provideclear, concise output to the applicable quality focal point.
• Familiar with Electrical systems such as LV andMV equipments, motors, transformers, switchgears, PDBs, CTs, Relays, UPS,battery bank, lighting fixtures, receptacles and small power panels
• Familiar with Instrumentation and controlsystems such as DCS, ESD, instruments and transmitters like pressure, Diffpressure, level, flow, RTD & thermocouples with thermowells, gauges,analyzers and instrument tubing etc.
• Familiar with fire & gas, PAGA & telecomsystems devices and equipments
• Continuously monitor the quality of works inprogress at site and other work locations against the applicable technicalspecifications.
• Ensure that contractor processes and proceduresare properly and effectively implemented.
• Perform material/ equipment site receiptinspection with additional visual and dimensional examination (where practical)to confirm suitability and fit for purpose.
• Perform site installation, testing, calibrationinspections to confirm product and process quality in line with establishedquality and technical documents.
• Ensure that the latest revision of project qualitydocumentation is available and that records of product and process conformanceare maintained in accordance with the document and record control requirements.
• Prepare a daily report summarising the salientinspection points and quality concerns and coordinate directly with theassigned quality focal point regarding any significant issues identified.
• Manage and participate in site qualityverification activities (i.e. Quality Walkabout and Surveillance) and documentresults using the applicable inspection report template.
• Record and facilitate the follow-up of productrelated non-conformance results.
• Recommend topics to be covered during the annualquality training program and prepare discipline quality specific trainingmaterial when requested by the quality focal point.
• Act as the ?eyes and ears? of project managementteam to ensure that quality requirements and expectations are fully satisfied.
• Familiar with the company health, safety andenvironment requirements and ensure that they are adhered to during projectactivities.

• Diploma in an Electrical / Instrumentation engineeringdiscipline.
• Familiar with IEC, NEC, NFPA, BS, NEMA, NETA etc.Codes/ Standards.
• Familiar with quality assurance principles andpractices as per ISO 9001.
• 10 years experience in project related qualitycontrol activities for EPC type oil and gas projects.
• Fluent in both spoken and written English.
