Electrical DesignerJob Location : Doha, QatarResponsibilities:•Develop electrical designs, layouts, and schematics based on project specifications and engineering requirements.•Prepare electrical drawings, including cable routing, single-line diagrams, and lighting layouts.•Ensure all designs comply with industry codes and standards, including IEEE, IEC, and client-specific guidelines.•Collaborate with engineers and other discipline designers to ensure design consistency and integration.•Perform quality checks on electrical design deliverables, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.•Utilize design software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, or SmartPlant Electrical to produce detailed design drawings.•Participate in design reviews and address any design issues or modifications as needed.•Maintain organized project documentation and support the development of project design databases.Job Details :•Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.•Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, or SmartPlant Electrical.•Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word) for reporting and documentation.•Minimum 8 years of experience as an electrical designer in the oil and gas industry.•Strong understanding of electrical design principles, codes, and standards.•Experience with electrical design tools and software for producing detailed design deliverables.•Knowledge of offshore oil and gas facility electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, grounding, and cabling.
