Experienced in Oil & Gas sector E & I Inspections and allied functionsResponsible for inspecting electrical and instrumentation systems during construction, installation, testing, and commissioning, ensuring compliance with international standards (IEC, API, IEEE), safety regulations, and project specifications.? Key Responsibilities- Inspection & Testing- Conduct inspections of electrical equipment (transformers, switchgear, UPS, cathodic protection systems).- Verify installation and testing of instrumentation systems (control panels, fire & gas detection, telecom systems).- Ensure compliance with Ex equipment standards (Exd, Exe, Exi) in hazardous areas.- Documentation & Compliance- Review EPC contractor and vendor documentation for electrical/instrumentation systems.- Ensure adherence to IEC 60079 standards for explosive atmospheres.- Maintain inspection records, punch lists, and non-conformance reports.- Commissioning Support- Witness pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for electrical and instrumentation systems.- Validate calibration of instruments and loop checks.- Safety & Quality Assurance- Ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures and project-specific ITPs.- Monitor corrective actions for identified issues.? Qualifications & Experience- Education: B.Sc.
