Roles & ResponsibilitiesInstall, maintain, and repair a variety of door systems, including automatic, manual, fire-rated, and security doors, ensuring optimal functionality and safety.Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues within door systems, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and schematics.Perform preventative maintenance on door hardware, motors, sensors, and control systems to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to accurately install and service door systems according to specifications.Desired Candidate ProfilePossess a high school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship in a related field is highly advantageous.Hold relevant certifications such as a Certified Door Technician (CDT) or equivalent industry-specific credentials.Have 3-5 years of hands-on experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of diverse door systems.Demonstrate proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical components of automatic and manual doors.
