Job Description

United Safety is looking to hire the following specialists for our operations in Qatar.Duties include but not limited to:

  • Under the direction of the QA/QC Lead assists in planning, organizing and controlling required activities with on-site client representative(s) for plant and construction. Including: identifying distribution methods, logging equipment in and out to contractor representatives.
  • Under the direction of the QA/QC Lead: assists in ensuring that any dysfunctional equipment to be kept out of equipment ready for distribution pool while following up on status of being sent to QA/QC rep for confirmation on status.
  • Conduct Job Observations Critically examine all aspects of work being performed (behaviors) under the direction of the QA/QC Lead.
  • Risk & Hazard Identification Identify type and level of at-risk activities. Identify, report, and control site specific hazards as a pro-active measure using client and Company Hazard Management tools.
  • Incident/Accident Reporting Understand the procedures and process for reporting all incidents & accidents. Actual reporting is all done by the Senior Site Representative.
  • Equipment Inventory and Distribution: Maintain daily/weekly inventories as required. Ensure all equipment serial numbers/tag numbers are documented electronically on equipment logging software prior to release and verified up return. Organized equipment sheets into client files for easy reference. Meet customer equipment needs and demands through the shop foreman/operations management on an ongoing basis.
  • Document and Data Control: Maintaining appropriate records management, including; maintaining equipment distribution log (in/out disposition); maintaining equipment maintenance log and tests/calibrations; initiating incident reports for non-conforming/missing equipment and reporting incidents at the end of shift.
Core requirements:
  • 1-2 years of previous work experience (upstream and downstream);
  • Fluent in English;
  • High School Diploma
  • Basic knowledge of Safety Equipment such as PPE, Gas Monitor and Breathing Apparatus
  • Basic knowledge of HSE
