Nair Systems is currently looking for Data Engineer (SQL) for our Qatar operations with the following terms & conditions.SummarySeeking a Data Engineer / SQL Developer with 3–5 years of experience in advanced T-SQL scripting, database optimization, and performance tuning using Microsoft Azure SQL and SQL Server. Ideal candidate has a track record of maintaining high-performing databases, troubleshooting queries, and ensuring data reliability for business-critical systems.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, maintain, and optimize databases in Azure SQL and SQL ServerWrite, refine, and troubleshoot advanced T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and functionsAnalyze execution plans, apply indexing strategies, and resolve performance bottlenecksVerify query outputs by understanding business objectives and ensuring data accuracyManage backups, security configurations, and user access controlsLeverage Power BI for data analysis and reportingDocument database structures, configurations, and performance improvements thoroughlySet up and maintain monitoring and alerting tools for proactive performance managementImplement security and compliance measures across database environmentsCollaborate with developers, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless database integrationUse Git & Azure DevOps for version control, adhering to best practicesQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field3–5 years of SQL development experience with a strong focus on T-SQL and performance tuningProficiency in Azure SQL and SQL Server administrationProven ability to debug and optimize complex queries, stored procedures, and functionsExperience using Git for source control and team collaborationStrong attention to detail and a commitment to thorough documentationBasic reading and understanding of Arabic is preferred.Joining time frame: 2 weeks (maximum 1 month)Should you be interested in this opportunity, please send your latest resume in MS Word format at the earliest
