Job Description

Convenience Stores Operation Manager Position ? (3 branches)Looking for someone to manage the best convenience store in Doha ? at the Pearl, Al-Gassar Tower, and Doha Port.At The Hub, we are pioneers in the convenience store sector. We have created a store that specially sources the highest quality healthy, organic and delicious products from around the world and we offer them with passion. From organic coffee sourced in Italy and a dedicated juice bar, to freshly baked Parisian bread, or the latest paleo and gluten free options, The Hub has something to offer everyone.So what does the role involve?You will take complete ownership of The Hub?s commercial activity to ensure targets are achieved and exceeded, whilst being creative and unique in the display of your varied product range.

  • You will be responsible for maintaining an acceptable gross profit, proper inventory management operations reporting of store activities.
  • You will be responsible for achieving a greater sales increase over the previous year in sales. Plan and prepare work schedules and assign employees to specific duties.
  • Inventory control record of all purchases and be able to compare this to the physical stock on premises.
  • You will communicate with government authorities and reply to their inquiries ASAP.
  • You can deal with concerned stakeholder ministries: health, economy, Baladiya and Environment, taxes bureau, kahramaa, Qatar cool, UDC, Alfardan, Katara hospitality, etc
  • Monitor and maintain proper store cleanliness, appearance, and maintenance as per company policy.
  • You will be aware and up to date with market information and prices, changes, and activities of competitors.
  • You are aware of the new products in the market and their sources.
  • Supervise employees, taking of inventories, reconciling cash with sales receipts, keeping operating record of transactions, and closing off the sales for the day.
  • Will inspire and coach your team within The Hub to drive the very best customer service
  • You will recruit and train staff, collaborating with vendors, oversee the purchasing and inventory, ensuring that safety policies are implemented, solving customer complaints, and driving the culture in The Hub.
  • You will know and be passionate about The Hub?s products, bringing your own expertise and influence into the store.
  • You will be managing a fast-paced retail environment and cafe ? all in one.
  • You will be dynamically able to deal with fast food delivery companies such as Talabat, Snoonu, Rafeeq, and others; and be able to solve any problems that may rise.
  • You will review operational reports to project and maximize store profitability.
  • You will implement merchandising and promotional plans.
  • You will work with the owners to continually innovate to drive store profitability.
