Conversant with upstream /downstream oil and gas facilities pre-commissioning/commissioning/ start up activities.
Must be familiar with commissioning strategies, procedures, documentation needs.
Good hands own experience in commissioning/start up and have good knowledge in process/mechanical/electrical Automation disciplines in Oil and gas upstream/Downstream facilities.˙˙˙
The candidate must be aware of commissioning practices for Static/Rotating equipment?s, piping, electrical equipment?s and systems Instrumentation and automation systems, industrial communication networks, etc.
He must be familiar with Oil & Gas ?Health, safety˙and environmental standards and guidelines.
The candidate must be able to understand the operating philosophies of oil and gas facilities, operational methodologies, Standard operating Procedures (SOP), Process flow Diagrams (PFD), P&IDs, Construction work packs (CWP), Loop test sheets, Cause and effect Matrix (C&E) etc.
Must be able to prepare commissioning procedures in accordance with standards and method statements related.
He should have basic knowledge of Distributed control systems (DCS), Programmable logic controllers (PLC), other automation systems such as Machine monitoring, analyzer systems, etc.˙involved in the process control.
The candidate is expected to have specific experience in the commissioning and startup of De gassing stations, Ga gathering stations, Dehydration units, Hydro carbon storage tanks, well heads and flow lines, Gas recycling plants, Gat treatment plants, Produced water pumping/treatment plants, Hydrocarbon gas˙compressor stations, Refineries, downstream industries such as NGL/Olefin /Polymers/ GTL industries, Offsite and utilities for Oil and Gas industries etc.
Commissioning experience in off shore facilities would be an added advantage.,˙
The candidates must have good experience in leading post start up performance tests for equipment?s and systems spanned over multi-disciplines, prepare the documentation required for such tests.
The commissioning engineer is expected to have fair familiarity over international engineering standards and codes such as IEC/IEEE/ASTM/ASME/API /Shell design Engineering Practices (DEP) etc.
