Job Description

  • Perform Maintenance work scheduled to ensure continual safe and efficient operation of the?company?service department plant or facility
  • Perform a wide variety of general building maintenance repairs and services.
  • Work closely with safety officer to enforce safety regulations
  • Perform daily work assignments by maintenance supervisor;
  • Maintain documented records for all the maintenance work tasks carried out for the service department facility
  • Inspects and evaluates the condition of service department buildings and machinery for possible mechanical, electrical and structural problems and for general building cleanliness and grounds maintenance and report the founding to maintenance supervisor
  • Develops standard work practices
  • Ensure high quality of completed jobs carried out
  • Responds to unplanned operational or maintenance events
  • Diagnoses operational problems and recommends corrective actions
  • Recommend projects for annual work plan and preventive maintenance program to maintenance supervisor
  • Recommend the necessary tools to maintenance supervisor
  • Report any damaged tools maintenance supervisor
  • Works with the maintenance supervisor to establish goals, priorities, and expectations, and to develop the action plans and strategies for accomplishing them
  • Establishes and maintains open communication with work team members about all issues affecting them and their roles in the Department
  • Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service.
  • Comprehend and make inferences from technically written materials.
  • Compliance with all Occupational Health and Safety legislation, guidelines, standards, policies, procedures and practices.
  • Work with chemicals or similar solutions using only normal protective equipment.
