Job Description

The ideal candidate for Category Executive preferably in fashion and lifestyle division in E-commerce (multi-vendor platform) is responsible for managing a category of products. He/ She shall be responsible to developing business opportunities and bringing multi brands to the platform. Need to take care of the sales day-to-day, managing vendors and execute product listing along with planning for the coming months.Responsibilities:

  • Promote business / sales opportunities for e-commerce with local and intentional brands in fashion and life style.
  • Analyzing data or insights to determine consumer trends
  • Devising long-term Category Strategy for products
  • Developing exit strategies for unsuccessful products
  • Devise long-term development strategies for product categories
  • Develop exit strategies for unsuccessful products
  • Foster trust relationships with vendors to achieve better pricing and quality of services
  • Ensure product availability that meets consumer demands.
  • Determine the positioning of a product category to maximize visibility
  • Liaise with marketing teams to determine competitive pricing and promotional activities of a product category
  • Collaborate with merchants to expand product categories
  • Make forecasts for product demand to ensure the sustainability
  • Assume responsibility of budget development and revenue for category
