Job Description

Position SummaryResponsible for the review, analysis, evaluation of user needs for the setup and implementation of new IT solutions that meet the overall educational and business objectives of the college.The position also requires the assessment and enhancement of the current portfolio of IT solutions.Job Responsibilities

  • Analyzes business needs and current technologies. Proposes updates to current systems or applications, new solutions or improvements to current processes.
  • Proposes well thought out models that capture key components/functions and provide frameworks for the business and technical assessment of systems.
  • Provides input into the project planning process with team members by identifying potential issues that could affect project schedule and suggesting ways to address those roadblocks.
  • Follows operational objectives by studying finalized requirements and operational/project plan.
  • Prepares and implements test plans for the implementation of new solutions, system enhancements, modi?cations, application ?xes, and new software releases.
  • Provides support to users of systems: student information system, learning management system, WCM-Q website, online outreach platforms, and business process workflows. User support includes general help desk support, training, and system documentation.
  • Keeps all stakeholders and users updated on the status and completion of their projects and requests.
  • Adept at managing relationships with the suppliers and vendors of our business and educational solutions.
  • Ensures standard security best practices and protocols are followed by all stakeholders in the implementation, use and support of all systems.
  • Follows organizational standards for the full life- cycle management of systems.
  • Any other relevant task as assigned.
