Operate barge, crew boat and transport marine drilling crew from port to project site location.
Responsible for Barge safety, towing/movement and setting up of barge to each location in consideration of its safety capabilities.
Stay for 24-hours at barge during non-operational period and client coordination.

Operate and tow jack up barges, crew and tug boats as per the Project Manager?s instructions within the barge safe capabilities.
Responsible for the security on the vessel and ensure that the crew men are qualified for their position.
Implement the company?s safety policies of the Company (including Alcohol / Drug policy).
Implement the marine operation procedures of the Company and propose improvements as necessary.
Organize safe and efficient operations with the barge and all personnel on board, both at sea and in port.
Ensure management and training of crew.
Organize watch keeping duties at sea and in port as required and draw up night orders for marine activities.
Delegate duties to appropriately qualified personnel and manage mooring and lifting operations.
Follow up barge certificates update and ensure they are properly filed.
Ensure that the barge is maintained in a seaworthy manner and that all relevant safety regulations are complied with at all times.
Control the efficient operation of all communication equipment on-board.?
Ensure that work is carried out in accordance with the Company?s established policies and procedures regarding quality, health, safety and environment.
Ensure that continual safety vigilance and awareness is reinforced to all subordinates and all work is performed to the highest standards of safety.
Maintains good housekeeping in his workplace and assists in marine drilling works as necessary.
