? The AV Field Engineer ?should be able to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment problems in a service support role. That includes testing, troubleshooting of system components and functions and field verification of connections, labels, installation and work quality.? To ?understand advanced system drawings, specifications and technical manuals. They will be able to create shop drawings and submittals for new project kick-off.? To ?understand advanced system requirements , Tender requirements? and prepare the necessary BOQ / Solution for the requirement? and draw the scope of work? ? The AV Field Engineer must understand Control System and / or DSP programming and commissioning including basic programming and setup to configure system components such as DSP, mixers, wireless mics, video & lighting systems.? To provide reports on daily basis and project basis? as per the requirement of the company? To attend pre sales meeting , presentation , demo? and prepare necessary documentation ? To do basic programming and configuring of AV equipment such as DSP (Biamp/QSC/BSS/ClearOne)? To do basic programming and configuring of Crestron/Extron/AMX, matrix mixers and switchers, VTC (Cisco/Polycom)? To do various Integrations with 3rd party applications and AV devices ,Equipment?s and applications, with necessary support from? 3rd party vendor? To do testing and commission ,end user training on AV systems.? To be able to? provide work around solutions in SOS ?situations ? To configure IP addressable devices and have a basic understanding of data networking? Work will include work both ?in house? and in the field when required? Work Will Involve Checking and troubleshooting ,Hardware , Cables? , supporting devices , network etc ? To ?assume ownership of project installation giving next level support to the other ?Engineer / Technician, ?as well as supporting field staff and project manager.? To ?assist with maintaining and completing project sang-list for project close outs.? To ?oversee the technical aspects of projects and IT coordination.? To do ?pre quality-check the projects, test all equipment and functionality and confirm if the devices? are working fine and ready for? project installation, do regular firmware/ application updates ? To ?assist sales staff as needed with product and system demonstrations.? To ?assist PM with change order designs and estimates.? To ?be ready handle other responsibilities as assigned as per the company requirements ? To Train the in house team on regular basis ,? perform? proper knowledge transfer? ? To Prepare necessary configuration? and Handover document in coordination with? PM
