Job Description

Ast. Manager is the focal point for managing implementation, governance and support of core applications (SAP Solutions) at AAB. The position is responsible for effectively analysing, planning, organizing and leading teams in support of production applications while managing risk, workload, scope, capacity, schedule and budget.

  • Manage application (SAP/ERP Applications) maintenance outsourcing and software contract agreements; Implement and monitor standards around scope management, financial management, service level agreements (SLA), ensurecompliance to mitigate risk, increase service/business Impact & reduce costs.
  • Drive projects by adopting project life cycle methods for the successful delivery including planning, execution, schedule, risk and budget management. Oversee project to provide metrics for reporting to executive team on business case ROI.
  • Responsible for scope control with stakeholders, Risk management, task execution with the development team and relevant upward communication to managers.
  • Helps define process improvements and feedback for large, multi-part projects that need creative project management strategies required for timely execution.
  • Provide technical leadership to the support team and be the SAP SME to the team and AAB other supporting role.
  • Manage a team of consultants and do work planning, capacity utilization and solutioning for business requirements.
  • Provide Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA) on selected business processes to assemble input into business case.
  • Responsible for coordination with other interrelated non-SAP application teams and other internal IT teams to provide resolutions and closure of reported issues.
  • Act as the first point of escalation for the SAP application support and ensure resolution of issues to users best satisfaction.
