Reception Duties:

Greets all incoming customers with a warm smile.
Answers all phone calls.
Assists customers with information about offerings.
Begins the Registration Process or introduces the customer to the Facility Manager or Training Director for further assistance.
Informs the customer about and enforces facility rules.
Ensures that the Lobby stays tidy and clean.

Facility Duties:

Ensures that parents, guardians, and children are following the posted rules.
Ensures the safety of all customers and children in the facility area.
Builds a positive rapport with customers as they wait. Introduces them to and teaches them about additional offerings.
Ensures that the facility area is tidy and clean.

Gym and Classroom Duties:

Spots and generally assures safety of participants during programs and between classes.
Knows who guests and make-ups are in each class.
Cues and re-cues music/videos.
Accepts and performs program duties as assigned.
Stores and stages equipment in the storage room so that it is ready for the next class.
Sets up the gym/classroom for the next class, ensuring the equipment layout is safe.

Is positive, happy, and bright.
Smiles a lot!
Actively demonstrates enthusiasm.
Actively handles shyness wherever it exists.
Initiates enthusiastic interaction with children and parents (Does not stand around with hands in pockets).
Initiates a caring conversation with people who look like they need help.
Knows most parents and all children by first name.
Effectively sells our regular program and birthday program.
Asks questions

Knowledge:

Knows everything about the program, including:
Age groupings for each class
Names for each class
How we change our program weekly
How we create a positive environment
How many children are in each class
How many instructors are in each class
Why we maintain a non-competitive environment
How we build self-esteem.
Explains birthday parties thoroughly and accurately and sells birthday parties properly.

Cleanliness:

Ensure that the gym is spotless every day. All employees are equally responsible for this task.
