Benefit from this exceptional experience by advancing your skills, know-how and future career.Scope of Position:The Asset and Inventory Accountant is responsible for recorfing the cost of newly acquired fixed assets (both tangible and intangible) tracking existing fixed assets, recording depreciation, and accounting for the disposition of fixed assets.What you will be doing:

  • Conduct periodic physical counts of fixed assets.
  • Conduct periodic impairment reviews for intangible assets.
  • Review and update the detailed schedule of fixed assets and accumulated depreciation.
  • Conduct analyses related to fixed assets as requested by management.
  • Prepare audit schedules relating to fixed assets and assist the auditors in their inquiries.
  • Represent the company during any audits by Accor audit that involve fixed assets.
  • Recommend to management any updates to accounting policies related to fixed assets.
  • Assign tag numbers to fixed assets.
  • Follow the report and signature process to check for breakage, damages report use of the Site Operations Manager.
  • Supervise the receiving, storing, and issuing procedures and supervise storeroom and personnel and premises for proper recording, storing, inventory turnover, issuing checks for proper inventory rotation avoiding waste and pilferage end of operations.
  • Conduct monthly stock movement reconciliations, asset distributions by end of each month each by cluster.
Your experience and skills include:
  • At least 1 year experience in a similar position
  • University Degree in Finance/Accounts
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
  • Highly responsible & reliable
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
