1. Coordination and supervision of all permanent and temporary civil works design and site engineers, draughtsman and associated staff to ensure high quality and functional design, and timely approval of the related shop drawings.2. Supervision of external permanent and temporary civil works shop design on technical matters to ensure compliance with relevant design briefs and specifications.3. Liaison with section managers to ensure efficient communication, immediate response to design/construction-related queries and timely transfer of drawings/documents.4. Coordination of permanent civil/architectural works design with all other relevant disciplines.5. Solution of design problems relating to permanent civil and architectural works design elements.6. Liaison with permanent and temporary civil works design and supervision consultants as and when required and checking of any associated drawings and documents.7. Arrange for the necessary approval of permanent works by the appropriate design consultant or design supervision as applicable8. Supervision of in-house technical office and monitoring of the progress relating to the programme of works.9. Cooperate and liaise with construction teams
