Job Description

Present in more than 70 countries around the world, our reach, and capabilities in the markets we service is unparalleled in the industry.We are working with our Oil and Gas Client based in Qatar to source an Architectural Engineer. This will be contracting role and the client would like to consider candidates based in this region due to COVID 19 regulations & constraints. Please see details below.Title: Architectural EngineerDuration: 3 Years contractLocation: Doha QatarQualifications

  • Qualification: Bachelor?s or master?s degree in architectural engineering,
  • Experience with design and construction of offshore accommodation platforms, including interior decoration
  • Experience with offshore technical buildings such as electrical and instrumentation rooms
  • Experience in plumbing and sanitary system design for offshore accommodation buildings
  • Experience in Thermal and acoustic insulation for accommodation and technical buildings.
  • The ability to diagram designs both manually and with computer-aided draughting.
  • Computer literate, especially in architectural software.
  • Strong leadership skills and good communication skills.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Offshore experience is required,
  • Familiar with Total general specifications is a plus, and with relevant codes and standards,
  • Language: fluent English
  • Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment.
Accountabilities
  • Engineering dossier (FEED) is delivered in time with a robust definition with clear bases of design, a consolidated project scope, aligned with project state of requirement
  • Design decisions and arbitrations are done securing the FEED time schedule.
  • FEED deliverables are robust and secure the detail engineering phases, the next project phases and finally the operation phases.
  • Projects Engineering documents are reviewed efficiently, in time.
  • Engineering tasks/studies are well managed as per Client standards and contractual requirements, with a placement in dues times of proposed deviations.
  • All the technical interfaces with the design team are correctly managed,
  • Meet the organization?s safety regulations, reach the quality conformance.
  • Communication is efficient with all Client engineering and functional team members,
  • Optimizations and design selections considers properly HSE and operational impacts
  • Internal and external technical reviews (Project reviews, etc.) are done and completed.
  • Design of the projects is optimized (CAPEX and OPEX) to obtain a fit for purpose unit: safe for construction, operation, maintenance.
