Job Description

1.˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙PURPOSE :-The Architect / Site Support is responsible for the development and review of all architectural, interior design and related drawings required from the department and projects, and for ensuring their adherence to all applicable design and regulatory codes and standards while meeting project and client requirements.2.˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙SCOPE :-The Architect / Site Support reports mainly to the Head of Design Development Department (DDD) for the design development coordination, or to the Project Manager during the implementation at site of assigned projects.All instructions relating to the scope of the Architect / Site Support as team member of a department must be communicated thru the head of the department where he is assigned. His scope shall cover but not limited to the development of drawings from and for the information of the designer / client / project. He is to ensure the complete interpretation of all information received, and that all visuals and presentations are correctly delivered prior implementation. He may be requested to do site visits for architectural, interior design projects and brand representations when required for technical support especially during after sales or project confirmation, from where in this case, he will have to extend the coordination to the Project Manager for the proper implementation of projects at site.In general, the Architect / Site Support must work within organization?s policies and procedures.3.˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙RESPONSIBILITIES:-

  1. Prepares architectural, technical or presentation drawings and sketches for the proper interpretation of design concepts and their development;
  2. Checks that all drawings received from Client / Consultant / Design Development Department are co-related according to overall project requirements, and immediately notifies the Head of DDD of any discrepancies to resolve any issues prior to further development;
  3. Ensures that all architectural, interior design and related drawings are in adherence to all applicable design and regulatory codes and standards;
  4. Ensures that all designs, material and finishes specifications are followed for all related trades;
  5. Raises RFIs and clarifications for any discrepancies identified to concerned parties;
  6. Provides necessary information and sketches to concerned parties to enable the works to be interpreted properly or built on site correctly;
  7. Liaises with the Head of DDD or per-project manager;
  8. Liaises with other departments on site to ensure full feedback of information;
  9. Be familiar with all approved samples related to finishes;
  10. Maintains records relating to the scope of works.
