The University of Doha for Science and Technology is inviting nominations and applications for the position of Applications Specialist (ERP) in the Information Technology Directorate. Reporting to the ERP Supervisor, the Applications Specialist (ERP) must be a proven leader with the skills and expertise necessary to support the Information Technology Directorate in fully implementing the University ?s mission and vision.University of Doha for Science and Technology Profile:University of Doha for Science and Technology (UDST) (Formerly known as College of the North Atlantic ? Our faculty are committed to developing the students? skills and help raise well-equipped graduates that are proudly contributing to a knowledge-based economy and making the Qatar National Vision 2030 a reality.Duties & Responsibilities: This position requires an energetic and enthusiastic individual who will provide technical and functional support in the areas of PeopleSoft enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems administration, problem resolution, support, process mapping, system testing and development, security access and training.Candidates should have an outstanding record of industry experience in a similar or, related role within Business Applications development, and possess the qualifications necessary to be successful in the role of Application Specialist. The successful candidate is responsible for data processing solutions to enhance the University?s ERP systems. The successful candidate will also, develop procedures in coordination with relevant stakeholders to ensure integrity of the ERP system and databases and, ensure that ITIL standards and other policies governing data management are met.Candidates will assign system access to users at different levels across the University in line with policies, procedures and processes, define user needs and develop data processing solutions with end users on all functional modules and, design and deliver training material for the University?s ERP system in coordination with relevant stakeholders.Candidates will support in the design, construction and implementation of IT applications in alignment with University policies, troubleshoot application software and database problems, liaise with business, technical staff and vendors to resolve ERP issues and, prepare reports documenting ERP system and ensuring monitoring and compliance with ITIL standards and University ?s policies and procedures. Candidate must be able to Configure, maintain and troubleshoot the functional modules of Campus Solutions/HCM/Finance within the PeopleSoft ERP Systems.Responsibilities also include communicating University policies and protocol concerning ERP system.
