Job SummaryThe Accounting Manager ensures the integrity of accounting, safeguards organizational assets and develops efficient business processes to record revenue, financial reporting process and monthly closing process. Fulfills revenue objectives and adhere to accounting and reporting policies. This includes reviewing and analyzing finances, ensuring compliance with regulations and refining reporting documentation. Responsible for overseeing certain contracts as it relates to financial reporting, leading strategic planning for accounting policies and maintaining internal controls over financial transactions.Job Responsibilities 1Principal Accountabilities* Ensures accurate and timely monthly and annual closing of books of accounts* Reviews of all accounting transactions and payment proposals* Manages the financial reporting and financial statements analysis under IFRS* Manages Accounting related budgetary controls* Reviews of all accounting transactions and payment proposalsJob Responsibilities 2Additional Responsibilities 3Job Knowledge & Skills? Knowledge of Operating and Capital Budget Concepts? Knowledge and ability in the use of a personal computer and software applications (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)?
