Job Description

The Account Director is a senior pivotal position responsible for managing Brands. AD play an important role in ensuring the agencys services meet the clients needs, expectations, and marketing objectives. He/She must be strategic, efficient, innovative, creative, always on-trend, the AD is a brand custodian responsible of all aspects of the clients needs.ÿ

  • Client Management: Account Director will be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with their clients and acting as the main point of contact for all communications. He / She should ensure that client expectations are met and exceeded, and that the client is satisfied with the companys services.
  • Strategic Planning: Account Directors will be responsible for developing strategic marketing strategies for their clients, taking into account their market research, insight mining, objectives, target audience, and budget.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: AD to coordinate with the creative and media teams to develop & execute strategic campaigns.
  • Team Management: Account Director will be responsible for managing the team of account managers/exc, providing guidance and support, and ensuring that all client deliverables are met on time and to a high standard. AD is responsible for the creative materials, monitoring campaign performance, and making necessary adjustments during the campaign.
  • Budget Management: Account Directors will be responsible for managing the budget for their clients and ensuring that all marketing activities are delivered within budget.
  • Reporting: Account Directors will be responsible for providing regular reports to clients on the performance of their marketing activities, as well as presenting these reports to the companys senior management team.
  • Business Development: Account Director will be responsible for identifying opportunities to grow the business with existing clients and bringing in new clients. This may involve developing proposals, participating in pitches, and negotiating contracts
  • Data Analysis: Account Director will be responsible for analyzing data related to the clients marketing campaigns, identifying trends, and making recommendations for future strategies.
  • Industry Knowledge: Account Director must stay up to date with industry trends, changes, and best practices, and use this knowledge to provide insights and recommendations to clients.
  • Relationship Building: Account Director need to build relationships with key stakeholders, such as media representatives or influencers, on behalf of their clients.
  • Contract Negotiation: Account Director should negotiate contracts with clients, suppliers, and other third parties to ensure that the companys interests are protected.
  • Team Development: Account Director will be responsible for developing the skills and capabilities of their team members, providing training, coaching, and mentoring as necessary.
