The CO-OP will be part of a technology team for Air Products new technology center in Dhahran Techno Valley (DTV) in Saudi Arabia.
The candidate will work on IoT (Raspberry Pi) with application to Array Signal Processing (microphone array: FDBF and Functional Beamforming)
Primary focus will be on learning, developing, and implementing array signal processing algorithms for industrial applications
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES
Understand the underlying methods in Array Signal Processing algorithms (FDBF and Functional Beamforming) and assess for use in industrial applications
Validation against literature
Write Python or C++ code to implement the algorithms on a Raspberry Pi
Literature review of latest developments in developer community and evaluate the new developments with available open-source codeÿ
Provide support in terms of recording and pre-processing field data (sound) and integration with Raspberry Pi IoT device
Apply methods & algorithm to field data, arrive at performance metrics and methods to improve performance
Support in ongoing modeling development in collaboration with academic and research institutions
Prepare documentation and presentation of test cases and best practices.
