  • Support the implementation and Improvement of the ABB HSE policies and Procedures
  • Advise and instruct on the ongoing activities in the Factory Floor and understand the Hazards associated with the tasks
  • Conduct ABB risk assessment Format Activity based Risk assessment (ABRA) and enforce identified control measures
  • Initiate and organize HSE training of employees and contractors when required
  • Inspect Area of repsonsibile operatons on a weekly basis and ensure Housekeeping is to an acceptable standards daily in conjunction with Contractors as per the ABB Way Control standards
  • Understand COSHH Requirements, restricted and prohibited Substances and the management / storage/ Handling of etc.
  • Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy
  • Record and investigate incidents up to the level of medium and be able to populate the ABB Way forms with the relevant level of Reports ( First aid / Near miss etc)
  • Be able to Communicate effectively by way of creating reports when required, Ensuring Life saving TBT are delivered on a daily basis and keeping records of such activities and written communication skills to create reports and training materials, and verbal communication skills to delegate tasks to other HSE staff members.
Your background
  • Ideally, youll hold a Bachelor in HSE or Electrical Engineering
  • with NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA or any similar qualification
  • Minimum 2 Years in HSE
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal) is required.
