Job Description

A new opportunity has come up forawell-experienced Consultant Adult Intensivist to work for a hospital based in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia.The hospital is one of the best and renowned and reputed hospitals in Saudi Arabia.In this role, you will have the following responsibilities:Basic FunctionProvides specialized clinical services to the patients who are critically ill.ScopeThe Adult Intensivist is a staff member of the Specialty Medicine Department, and provides clinical care and consultative services to critically ill patients with either medical and or surgical disorders. Will fulfill additional duties for which he or she is qualified to meet organizational needs. Reports to the Chief of the Division of Specialty Medicine.Principal Duties

  • Provides person-centered care and consultations to inpatients and outpatients in the area of expertise
  • Provides diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in accordance with the highest standards of care and within the delineation of privileges as recommended by the Chief of the Division, and approved by the Credentialing and Privileging Committee.
  • Completes all medical documentation and reports in a timely and professional manner.
  • Develops collegial relationships and works collaboratively other physicians, nurses, allied health providers and administrators across departments and districts. Actively participates as a member of multi-disciplinary teams and is a team player.
  • Shares in the on call responsibilities according to operational need. Responds to emergency requests for assistance from the emergency rooms at all facilities.
  • Actively participates in the monthly Unit, Division, Department and Hospital staff, clinical, education and research meetings.
RequirementsTo be considered in this role, you need to meet the following criteria:ExperienceMinimum of 3 years experience in the field of critical care and proof of expertise in that discipline.Certifications/Other requirements as applicable
  • Canadian - Fellowship of the Royal Colleges
  • Australian - Fellowship of the Royal Colleges
  • UK - CCST or CCT or GMC Specialist Registration
  • Ireland -CCST or CCT or IMC Specialist Registration
  • USA American Board
Certifications/Other requirements as applicable
  • Excellent command of verbal and written English.
  • Ability to adjust to group practice in an industrial environment.
  • Computer skills
  • 5 days a week working depends on the work schedule and demands of the job.
WORK LOCATION - EASTERN PROVINCE OF SAUDI ARABIA.
