It s all about progress.If you re ambitious, driven and team-spirited, this is your opportunity to build a career as a Track Switch Engineer based in Cairo, EgyptAbout the role:Responsible for defining and managing the Interfaces between Track Switch system scope and all other subsystems interfacing with it (rolling stock, Conductor Rail, Traction Power, Signaling, SCADA, Conductor Rail, etc...), including third parties when required (eg. Civil works).Review/Prepare all necessary design for Track Switch Systems. Implement workaround Plans to mitigate adverse effects of delays on the contract schedule.This role must have working knowledge of Civil, Mechanical, Control, Structural design and calculations.This role must have working knowledge of international Welding standards and associated experience (preferred knowledge of AWS D 1.5 Welding Code).Key responsibilities1. Supporta cross-functional team to successfully complete the Product Adaptation andIntegration obligations on time, with the objective of maximizing Customersatisfaction while incorporating all appropriate Governance processes.2. Responsible to provide/review testingprocedures for relevant systems (Track Switch system,) to Testing &Commissioning team.3. Prepare/present reviews, weekly and monthly reports to management. Collect all relevantdata for compliance matrix process and RAMS related to Track Switch system.4. Supportthe System integration and System Assurance teams to Interface with partners toensure Bombardier interface requirements are understood and met for TrackSwitch system scope of work.5. Supportdevelopment of any specified tools, test equipment, training materials, andother enabling products necessary to efficient contract delivery of signalingand control system scopes.QualificationsQualifications &Functional KnowledgeEducationBachelor s in engineering.
