Responsibilities? Research various destinations and means of travel regarding prices, customs, weather conditions, reviews, etc.? Diagnose the clients specifications and wishes and suggest suitable travel packages or services? Organize travels from beginning to end, through booking tickets and accommodation, securing rental transportation, etc.? Use promotional techniques and prepare promotional materials to sell itinerary tour packages? Handle unforeseen problems and complaints and determine eligibility for money returns? Maintain relationships with key accounts? Keep financial statements and documents? Reach the revenue and profit targets? Preparing customized itineraries to suit the clients preferences and budget.? Making and confirming bookings, often via online and offline sources.? Modifying existing bookings to suit a change in clients circumstances.? Researching destinations and keeping up to date with travel industry news.? Ongoing training with other team members and management.? Provide competitive but profitable trips assuring that the quality of tours is consistent with a high standard.? Ensure a minimum of 70% of all inquiries are converted into bookings by the quick, detailed and accurate response to inquiries.? Focus on upselling to increase revenue?
